Why client approval breaks down in email threads
The way it is at the moment for a lot of agencies is that drafts go to the client as screenshots in an email or a shared document. The client replies with changes, someone on the team edits the post, and it's easy to lose track of which version the client actually signed off.
In ReBrandOS, the approval is tied to the exact copy and media the client saw. If you edit the post afterwards, it's marked as edited after client approval, and it needs a new review.
How client approval works in ReBrandOS
- 1. SendSelect the drafts for one brand and choose Send for client review, or ask your AI to send them. One link holds up to 50 drafts, and ReBrandOS can email it to the client for you.
- 2. ReviewThe client opens the link with your agency's name and logo on it, and sees each post with its copy and media as it would publish.
- 3. DecideFor each post, the client approves, asks for changes with a comment, or rejects it with an optional comment.
- 4. PublishWith client approval required, only the approved posts can be scheduled. You still approve the schedule yourself, in the chat or in the app.

What happens after the client replies?
Each draft has a client review panel with every decision and comment on it. If your team writes in ChatGPT or Claude, you can ask your AI what the client said. It reads the decisions and comments through ReBrandOS, proposes the edits, and sends the edited posts back to the client for a new review.
At the end of the month, you can send the same client a read-only performance report by link, with your agency's name and logo on it. The client doesn't need an account for that either.
What to look for in a social media approval tool
We'd check these four things in any approval tool, including ours.
- Does the client need an account? If they do, a lot of clients will reply by email instead, and you're back to screenshots.
- Is the approval tied to the exact version? If someone can edit a post after it's approved, the tool should mark it and ask for a new approval.
- Can you block publishing until the client approves? Some tools only record the approval, and the post can still go out without it.
